Our Curriculum

Programmes

Ekamra Vatika opens a myriad of opportunities for exploration, learning, growth, sharing, relationship building, and skill development for every child.
We lay the foundation for early development of a child’s cognitive skills, emotional well-being, social competence, and sound physical and mental health to ensure their success well into the adult years.

Playgroup
(Age 2 and above)
Children start to explore the world around them as soon as they are born. At Ekamra Vatika, the playgroup curriculum enables children to continue this exploration. Early experiences in the first few years of life are crucial for acquiring skills as maximum brain development occurs during this period. Based on scientific approach and learning theories, this programme tends to foster social, aesthetic and motor skills in young children. The playgroup at Ekamra Vatika is a regular and relaxed meeting for groups of young children who haven’t yet started school. Children will engage in different activities to facilitate learning through play, problem-solving, collaboration and social skills.

Tiny Buds (Nursery)
(Age 3-4 years)
Early years are a time of growth, play, exploration, curiosity, and relationship building. Children transition from home to school and begin their journey of understanding themselves and the world around them. Our curriculum helps ensure that their first step into the world of learning leads to exciting adventures, development of cognitive, social, and motor skills, and a sense of group belonging.

Seedling Years (LKG)
(Age 4-5 years)
Children are curious and observant and young children’s knowledge begins with themselves. Our curriculum is divided into themes and sub themes and is designed to help these little ones to build a strong foundational understanding of their bodies, minds, and their immediate place in the world. They are guided and develop their abilities to:

  • Explore and inquire about their surroundings
  • Understand familiar places and daily processes
  • Learn about their own abilities and skills
  • Develop a stronger understanding of the world they live in.

Blossom Years (UKG)
(Age 5-6 years)
The themes and sub-themes for kindergarten reinforce and advance previous learning objectives and introduce the children to a variety of stimulating topics and ideas. Using multi-sensory stimuli and interactive methods of teaching, they develop:

  • A sense of respect for and responsibility to others
  • An early understanding of the complexities of a city
  • Ideas of maths and science
  • A deeper understanding of our world
Whether your child is developing a spaceship from a sandwich, designing their own costume for a party, or learning how to reuse plastic, we assure you they will love creating their own inventive solutions to real-world problems.

At Ekamra Vatika, we nurture the inherent abilities in your child for a deeper and better understanding of the world.
